The Universidade Federal Rural de Rio de Janeiro was one of our third phase training sites. At the university we had our Portuguese language classes, agriculture crops talks and local agriculture extension service offices visits. At that time the main programs offered were Agronomy, Veterinary Sciences and Home Economics. This is one of many federal universities and colleges across Brazil.
